The civic practices of using deliberative discussions to build understanding and shared purposes across difference will be explored in a National Issues Forums (NIF) workshop at the upcoming Campus Compact 2022 national conference. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in a forum using the National Issues Forums discussion guide Youth and Opportunity. Participants will learn about a range of resources available for convening such deliberative discussions on their own campuses as well as micro grants available by NIFI’s partner Up to Us to support their civic work.
