NCDD 2014: Democracy for the Next Generation
The National Coalition for Dialogue & Deliberation (NCDD) is coming to the DC area this October 17-19 (Fri through Sun) at the Hyatt Regency Reston. The conference will bring together 400+ of the most active and influential people involved in public engagement and group process work across the U.S. and Canada.
Everyone in the National Issues Forums network is warmly invited — and NCDD is offering a 20% discount off registration to the next 20 people from the NIFI network who register. Just use the promo code "NIFI-Network-Discount” when you register.
NCDD has held unique, engaging biennial conferences for leaders and up-and-comers in dialogue, deliberation, and public engagement since 2002. In the past twelve years we’ve brought together more than 2,500 people from dozens of countries. If you’re new to NCDD, you can learn more at www.ncdd.org.
This year, we are thrilled to feature plenary speakers David Mathews, President of the Kettering Foundation, and Grande Lum, director of the Department of Justice’s Community Relations Service, as well as our popular D&D Showcase, 40+ high-quality sessions, a panel on gamification, and an innovative field mapping activity.
We’ll be highlighting the best of what’s happening in public engagement, community problem-solving, and arts-based dialogue — so please join us to share your work, meet new colleagues, and be inspired by the latest innovations in our field.
