Are you tired of conventional politics where a rational conversation is hard to come by? How would you like to see people take off the boxing gloves and demonstrate that citizens, through listening to and sharing with one another, can work together to address complex issues?
Be a part of a public deliberation: How do we reduce health care spending and still get the care we need?
On Friday, April 8, 2016 from noon to 2 p.m., we will gather on the second floor of the Mary Vinson library and have a deliberative dialogue around this issue. Forum participants will each share his or her own personal stake in the matter, and be led through three separate approaches, weighing the benefits, costs, and tradeoffs of each (making is truly deliberative and more than general discussion.)
