The following message is from Carolyn Lukensmeyer at the National Institute for Civil Discourse (NICD).

I am writing to invite you to a special event, held in collaboration with the University of Arizona Social and Behavioral Sciences Department and The Loft Cinema in Tucson, Arizona. The event will be live streamed, so those unable to attend in person can join online. Stay tuned for live stream details!
Please join us on Monday, October 10th (the day after the second Presidential debate) as Dr. Carolyn Lukensmeyer, Executive Director of the NICD takes center stage at The Loft to moderate a live and unscripted cartoon debate between political cartoonist David Fitzsimmons of the Arizona Daily Star, and his comedic and political nemesis, Scott Stantis of the Chicago Tribune.
Enjoy the improvisation of these clever and talented artists and listen to some of Carolyn's spicier anecdotes from the already uncivil election campaign. Just like the real debates, anything can happen!
The event is sure to sell out, so click on the link below to get your tickets today!
