This spring the National Issues Forums Institute (NIFI) welcomed Darla Minnich onboard to serve in the capacity of chief administrative officer. NIFI president, Carol Farquhar-Nugent made the announcement and said, "We enthusiastically welcome Darla to the National Issues Forums Institute. Her skills and rich experience will be assets as NIFI continues to work to help the public engage important issues in their communities, and as NIFI pursues new and exciting projects." 

Minnich will help organize and support the many projects that NIFI has underway. She will also work with both the Kettering Foundation and NIFI on issue guide promotion, audience, and production. Before joining NIFI, Minnich was the Director of Conferences and Program Manager of Grantmakers in Aging. At Grantmakers in Aging, she directed 15 annual conferences and managed a variety of program offerings for its membership. She also designed and managed the grants database.
