Public television station KCOS13 in El Paso, Texas has hosted and broadcast a series of forums using National Issues Forums Institute (NIFI) issue guides. An April 4th, 2017 forum focused on the NIFI issue guide titled, Safety and Justice: How Sould Communities Reduce Violence? 

Results from forums around the country that have deliberated about the Safety and Justice issue will be discussed and presented at A Public Voice 2017 gathering  that will be held May 9, 2017 in Washington, DC.
